10 phases until Autumn 2008: 1st phase Sep-Dec 2007

First phase : works at north side of the Grassmarket between Flodden Wall and just east of Castle Wynd South. Work to include lifting cobbles for cleaning/shaping before relaying in a traditional Edinburgh pattern; Caithness stone to be laid among the trees in new events area.
