This hotel provides reasonable accommodation right in the centre and at low prices; views from 5th floor restaurant across to Edinburgh Castle.
Modern Metro restaurant and mezzanine cocktail bar below. The restaurant is set in a triple-height white-walled and timber-floored basement with street-level bar,all by Ian Springford Architects: opened 2000. The sense of space, great views and sensitive use of materials is impressive.
