New residence for visually impaired in Edinburgh
The blind charity has established a new residence for visually impaired adults with complex needs. The new Royal Blind Allermuir service in Edinburgh was officially opened in 2016.
RIAS/Saint-Gobain Emerging Architect Award

Edinburgh Edwardian Flat Refurbishment
One of four flats in an Edwardian mansion overlooking a beach on the Edinburgh coast. Camilla Pringle designed and supplied the kitchen. The family desired a large kitchen island to make a sociable cooking experience. The brief required the space to work with the tones of the sand and sea.
21 Hill Place, Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh
Architects Austin-Smith:Lord appointed to refurbish the four upper storeys of their category B listed property at 21 Hill Place in Edinburgh, by The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Prominently positioned facing Nicolson Square, it is one of the few surviving buildings that Thomas P Marwick was responsible for designing in its entirety.

Edinburgh Georgian Townhouse Restoration
The owners of this Grade I-listed Edinburgh New Town townhouse approached kitchen designer Brian Minns were clear about their brief. “They wanted to install a kitchen that felt as if it was really part of this Georgian property, and that would last another 20 to 30 years,”
