Tenders have been invited for this exclusive private residential development on the south side of Edinburgh. One of the last remaining substantial development sites in this prestigious part of the city, the houses are expected to fetch prices in excess of £1m.

The Rowans is situated in the exclusive Blacket Conservation Area. Originally part of the grounds immediately in front of Newington House, the site was developed as a home for blind women in the 1920’s. This building will be demolished to make way for the new development.

12 two and three bedroom flats and 8 four bedroom duplex penthouses in three villa-like blocks are arranged symmetrically over a basement garage. The penthouses each have extensive terraces and a solarium. Due to the sensitive nature of the site, ARCADE were involved in extensive consultations with the Planning Department to gain Consent for the development.
