City2 exhibition
This is a unique exhibition presenting the work of an architect and landscape architect.
City2 features designs for individual and joint projects undertaken by two talented Scottish practices. CiAO are based in Edinburgh and City Design, in Glasgow.
They work throughout Scotland and collaboratively came to prominence in August 2000 when they won the international Masterplan Competition for Ayr Sea-Front.
The projects presented demonstrate the skills of each practice in producing innovative designs across a range of scales and issues. It is appropriate that City2 is happening in an artist-run contemporary art gallery because both practices are at the vanguard of their fields in Scotland and have a unique boundary crossing relationship in their approach to design.
City2 exhibition: 5-15 May 2001
Patriothall Gallery, WASPS Studios, Patriothall, Hamilton Place, Edinburgh, south east Scotland, United Kingdom.
