Scottish Building Tour
Edinburgh Walking Tours – description of the key buildings in the Edinburgh:
Contact Isabelle Lomholt on or email isabelle(at)e-architect.com
Our guides trained as architects so no tartan, but plenty of architectural background. We did our first architecture tour in the capital city in 2000, and since then have completed hundreds.
We would be happy to provide references for interested parties. Our focus is on contemporary buildings but many visitors like a balance of both the old and the new.
Some groups of visitors have specific interests such as sustainable timber-frame housing, or steel-framed office properties. We are always open to tailoring tours to match the desires of the visiting groups.
Our architectural city walks typically last 3 to 4 hours, however some groups have asked for up to two full days of touring. Let us know what you would like to see!
