Stockbridge – urban village
Stockbridge is an area of Edinburgh located towards the north of the city centre, bordering on the New Town. Originally a small village, it was later incorporated into the City of Edinburgh. The “Stock Bridge”, built in 1801, spans the Water of Leith.
